Silent Gliss

Silent gliss offer many motorisation options for their curtain tracks including the Silent Gliss Metropole that gives the impression of a pole but operates like a track.

We have recently introduced a range of curtains for either 'supply only', if you want to replace your existing curtains. Or we can supply the whole service of supply and fit.

Silent Gliss tracks

Silence just got even quieter with the new Silent Track range. Resolutely architectural, specially designed tracks married with unique, two-component (2C) gliders, resulting in unprecedented quietness. Think of it as a reboot of Silent Gliss founder Alexander Weber’s game-changing innovation from 1952, which set the bar for noise-free curtain-track performance. A number of patents later and Silent Gliss has taken another major step forward with its latest Silent Track range.

ELECTRIC CURTAIN TRACKS

For the ultimate convenience and ease of operation choose Silent Gliss electric curtains tracks. Whether at home or out, our wide range of control options ensure you can move your curtains at the touch of a button. Our Move App gives you access to your tracks via a smartphone or tablet, whilst our smart motors allow integration into most leading home and building management systems.

The best-selling SG 5600 electric curtain track is smooth, quiet and powerful. The combination of a 2C roller glider (patent pending), the high performance Swiss engineered motor and the specially coated track delivers the highest performance. An additional feature, the ‘Touch& Go’ function means a slight pull on the curtain will start it moving!

Silent Gliss Metropole

Metropole is actually a curtain track that does not use rings, the curtains hang directly on nylon gliders contained in a channel inside the pole.

Unlike traditional curtain poles, the brackets attach to the top of the pole allowing the curtain to move smoothly throughout the complete length of the pole – no need for passing brackets, making it perfect for wide windows and large expanses of glass.

HAND, CORD OR ELECTRIC OPERATION

Metropole can be hand, cord or electrically operated. Whichever is chosen you are assured of the same smooth and
unhindered curtain movement. All our poles, regardless of size, shape or operation, keep the same sleek design. The cording endset blends into the pole profile giving a seamless finish.

Fabrics

We have a large range of fabrics available to be viewed in our showrooms or if you'd prefer we can have curtains made to your choice of fabric from outlets such as John Lewis etc. In a some cases we can organise to have the fabrics purchased on your behalf. We just need to know the name and manufacturer of the fabric. Ordering this way covers you against any flaws in the fabric being present. If flaws are found on the finished product they will be replaced with no cost to yourself.
