Cellular blinds feature a unique honeycomb construction that makes the blinds soft, durable, and highly energy efficient. The blinds built-in insulating characteristics help keep the heat out in summer and the warmth in during winter.
Cellular Blinds are available in many beautiful fabrics, rich structures and in three transparencies. This makes precise light control and privacy possible. They give a beautiful pleat pattern to windows of all shapes and sizes.
Reduce heat loss
Cellular blinds help to make your home more energy efficient by adding a layer of insulation to your windows. Saving energy is more important now than ever before and honeycomb blinds are the perfect blind to help with this. It has been shown that using honeycomb blinds can reduce heat loss by up to 55% when used with double glazed windows.
In addition to their heat retaining properties, cellular honeycomb blinds are also excellent in summer at keeping out harmfull UV while keeping your home cooler.
Sound reduction
In addition to heat retaining properties the cellular structure of honeycomb blinds also helps to reduce external sound levels by up to 45%. This sound absorption property also reduces internal echo effects making a more comfortable space.

Freehanging electric cellular blinds
Using a smaller headrail and battery motors, our standard electric cellular blinds are discrete using 25mm cellular fabrics or 20mm pleated fabrics. They are available with a 'Day and Night' feature so that two fabrics can be suspended from the same headrail allowing for a blackout fabric at night and a translucent fabric in the day time.

Rooflight cellular blinds

Options
Battery Motorised operation
Battery powered motorisation is available with Somfy, Brel and Coulisse motors and controls. In some cases wired 12v motors are also available.
Depending on the blind type and size the batteries are sometimes hidden in the headrail with a charging port on the headrail. Or sometimes the battery needs to be out side of the blind so is usually fitted up behind the blind as shown above.
240v operation
240v power allows for maintenance free operation with wired in power. 240v motors are available with the Maxicell P8900 32 and 45mm cell blinds.
Some of the battery motors can have 240v transformers fitted to allow for a permanent wired solution for the smaller blinds.
Solar chargers
Solar panel chargers are available for battery powered blinds. These help to keep the batteries charged so you dont need to charge them as often or sometimes not at all.
They are designed to trickle charge the motors and are not guarenteed to keep the motor fully charged if the blinds are used often.
Smart control with Somfy TaHoma
Somfy TaHoma is a smart box and the heart of your Smart Home. It links you to your home via the smart TaHoma app. Somfy Smart Home solutions are extremely easy to use and can be installed with very little trouble. You can add products whenever it suits your needs or your budget. Somfy Smart Home gets the most from your home with the least possible effort.

Handsets and wall switches
The stylish and robust Situo RTS remote controls are a popular choice to control your somfy powered electric blinds. They are available in various colours and as a single or multi channels handset.

Smart Hubs
Hubs are available for Somfy, Brel and Coulisse motors. They allow you to schedule your blinds to open or close at certain times of the day. They can react to sensors to close your blinds if a room gets too hot or the light levels get to high or low.
