The timeless appeal of roller blinds lies partly in their simplicity. Alongside this, advances in both technical textiles and automation technology have made roller blinds a high-performance solution for shading, building energy management, privacy & security.
However function does not surpass form. Whether designed to blend in or stand out, blinds can enhance the ambience and aesthetics of any space.

SYSTEM DETAILS
The heart of the Evolve® system are strong steel brackets, extruded aluminium roller tubes and ultra-smooth silent bearings. These are things you don’t see, but you will feel the difference over many years of trouble-free operation.
There are plenty of things to see and appreciate. Bracket covers available in a unique range of 6 finishes enable you to make a design statement whilst concealing the brackets & fixings. Or you can conceal the entire roller within an aluminium cassette, which can be custom coloured.
Hembars are available in matching finishes; or you may prefer a discreet hembar concealed within the fabric: the choice is yours.
Uses & Applications
Evolve® has been specifically designed for electric blinds. There is a full range of market-leading wired or wireless motors available. These can be controlled via switch, radio remote, app, full smart building integration, or a combination of these. There are virtually no limits to what you can achieve.
There are also options for manual operation via chain or crank handle.

Automation Options
Evolve® blinds can be powered using 240V, 24V or battery motors. Hardwired or wireless controls can be stand-alone or fully integrated with home automation or building management systems (BMS).
Intelligent digital motors are IP addressable and can be integrated with many control systems such as Control4, Crestron, Lutron, etc; and with protocols such as KNX, LON, BACNet, Modbus, Z-Wave, etc.

FABRICS
Evolve® can be used with a vast range of fabrics to create the optimum level of room darkening. Our range of roller blind fabrics has something suitable for any requirements. This includes dimout fabrics, silver-backed screen fabric, screen fabrics in matching colours through 1%, 3%, 5% & 10% opennesses and a selection of blackout materials.
Of course, you are not limited to using a fabric from the Umbra range. We have access to hundreds of beautiful high-performance fabrics from most manufacturers and the list is always growing; we are keen to work with you to find the perfect one.
