There are growing concerns regarding safety when it come to blinds. Due the use of cords on many blinds there is a potential strangulation risk to young children. In response to this Brite Blinds offers some alternative blinds and alternative means of operation to reduce this risk.

INTU Blinds

 

INTU blinds are designed with safety in mind. They have no operating cords at all and will fit most modern UPVC windows. They can be made as a venetian, pleated or roller blind.

Perfect Fit Blinds

 

Perfect fit pleated and roller blinds can be made without cords and fit most modern UPVC windows.

Mono Control Vertical Blinds

 

Vertical blinds can be manufactured using our mono control system. A single wand replaces the two cords that you would usually get with a vertical blind. Used with PVC slats there are no chains or cords at all

Roller Blinds

 

The traditional spring roller blind is coming back into favour due to the reduced risk of strangulation. Our chain controlled roller blinds now come with an easy break chain connector.

Aluminium venetian with Ultrawand Operation

Aluminium Venetian blinds can be made with the addition of an Ultrawand mechanism. Ultra wand combines tilting and raising/lowering of the Venetian blind into one control. When the blind is raised, lift cords can be wrapped around the cleats attached to the wand, eliminating free-hanging cords.
