Plisse Shades are available in four fabric opacities, for precise light control and privacy, and offer a perfectly stable pleat pattern for every window size. Choose from a wide variety of sheer, semi-sheer, semi-opaque and opaque fabrics, as well from an extensive range of colours.

 

Day and night

 

Plisse Shades are available in a unique Two In One setup that combines two contrasting plisse fabrics or even a Plisse with a Duette fabric in one shade for one window. During the day, enjoy the view through a highly transparent, light filtering fabric; at night, switch over to a more opaque Plisse fabric to eliminate light and ensure privacy. Two different transparencies in one window with endless possibilities when it comes to your own, personal approach to colour co-ordination.

 

Top-down Bottom-up

 

The ultimate in versatility, Top-Down/Bottom-Up Plisse Shades from Luxaflex® offer you the ability to operate shades from the top down, the bottom up, or in combination of the two. An ideal choice for bathrooms or for street facing windows, Plisse Top-Down/Bottom-Up is also the perfect choice for offices that require complete control over window glare.

 

Tilt and Turn

 

Our Side-Guided option fixes your Plisse Shade onto the window frame, holding it in place and eliminating any light leakage along the outside edges. In combination with the overall small dimensions of the Plisse system, this is also the ideal solution for your turn and tilt windows as well as for sliding or turning doors.

Crisp and narrow pleated Plisse Shades from Luxaflex® are designed to cover nearly any window shape. Plisse shades are particularly suited to cover your sloped windows, also in your conservatory.

Plisse Shades can be operated in many different ways:

 

Lift cord with cord lock

 

This type of operation consists of a lift cord with cord lock. The cord lock is in the headrail and the cord operating mechanism can be installed either left or right. (Applicable for the following window types: Standard - free hanging, Special shapes - free hanging)

 

Lift cord with cleat

 

Operation is by the means of a lift cord and cleat, which allows operation without a cord lock. The cleat can be mounted with a screw or is self-adhesive as supplied. The lift cord can be installed either left or right.

Endless cord or Endless chain

 

If so desired, it is possible to have an endless cord operation. This cord is available in white, in lengths of 60 cm, 90 cm, 120 cm, 150 cm and 180 cm. The headrail and the cord, which runs through the fabric, are colour-coordinated.

Handgrip (only in combination with tensioned cord)

 

This operating option is supplied with an adjustable handgrip on the operating rail. An extra option with this is the slide rod, which can be ordered separately. (Applicable for the following window types: ALL)

 

Crank rod

 

Operation is with a crank rod or motorized crank rod with battery charger. The operation mechanism is in the centre of the bottom rail (as standard in the conservatory window) or in the centre of the widest side (special shape conservatory window).

Electric controls

 

For more operating convenience, a full electrically operated Plisse Shade is available. The motor is installed in the headrail and operates the cord-winding system. The colour of the cord is adjusted to the product and the headrail is also colour-coordinated. The minimum width of the window furnishing with this operating option is 65cm.
