markilux 1500/1600
The markilux to suit all tastes.
A semi-cassette awning with gas tensioned arms.
Totally logical. Typically markilux.
1500 Design
The oval-shaped gas tensioned arms ensure a taut cover. The 50 mm round steel torque bar is extremely twist-resistant and the roller has a powerful, 85 mm diameter. The markilux 1500 is equipped with gas tensioned arms. A wall mounting profile is available as an option.
1600 Design
The strong arms ensure a taut cover. The round 50 mm steel torque bar is highly twist-resistant and the roller has a powerful, 85 mm diameter. The markilux 1600 is equipped with a twin steel-link chain, and is also available with gas tensioned piston technology, identical to that seen in the markilux 1500.
Technical features
The top gutter is equipped with a brush, which cleans larger dirt particles from the cover during the retraction process. A special mechanism ensures that the top gutter is adjusted to the awning inclination, so that no gaps or overlaps occur. A wall mounting profile is available as an option. Dimensions
The markilux 1500 is available in widths of up to 6.6 m or with a maximum drop of 3.5 m. Exceptionally wide systems are fitted with a rolltex bearing to prevent the cover from drooping.
Style
The brilliant style of the markilux 1500 has been distinguished with an iF Product Design Award. The elegant aluminium moving arm part closes together with the attractive top gutter of the semi-cassette in complete harmony.

A valance and/or shadeplus are available as optional extras.
Operation
Manual drive with a stainless steel winding handle, an electric motor and remote control are available as optional extras.

Markilux 1600 skylife 2
Technical features
The moving arm part of the markilux 1600 skylife 2 is equipped with a clever joint mechanism, that allows the awning to be transformed into a gable by using simple grip handles: an ideal solution for adjustable sun protection – and perfect for rain drainage, even with a 0% awning pitch. With the skylife 2 providing greater headroom at its central point, it is a practical alternative for those sites with lower mounting points or larger projections.
